Do you recall the last print ad you read?  How about the last billboard you passed on the highway?  Do you remember what someone was trying to pitch to you in the last radio ad you heard?  Perhaps you know the last television advertisement you saw?  No?  Don't worry, you're not alone.  Most people cannot recall such advertising because they are inundated with the same old type of advertising mediums every day.  Pretty soon, they all run together.  Now tell us, do you recall the last blimp you saw?  Perhaps you know it by a particular name?  I'll bet if you tried hard enough, you could recall the event where you saw it.  And if you can recall that event, we can probably nail down the exact day, and the time of day.  Do you suppose that advertiser got their money's worth that day?  You bet they did.  Advertisers would give their eyeteeth to have the ability to know you recalled their product name so specifically.  Whether you bought their product or not, their goal was to make their name a familiar one to you via blimp advertising.  And it WORKED!

How many times have you seen a weeknight televised professional football event sponsored by the ______ blimp?  And what do the commentators say?  "Aerial footage provided by the ______ blimp."  But nowadays, what aerial coverage is there?  After all, you're looking down on top of a domed stadium, so there's nothing to see but rooftop and cars in a parking lot.  And the folks inside the stadium never saw the airship, because there was this pesky ceiling in the way.  So how do we get around this?  Simple, we downsize the airship to fit inside the stadium or arena.  We put a camera on it to capture aerial images.  And we put it close to the people...closer than the full size airship could ever get!
